Set in the intimate and warm acoustic of St Vincent’s chapel, our autumn chamber music series celebrates duos and friendship through music. In October Chris Lyons and Emma Lloyd present a programme of piano and violin music, inspired by the famous nineteenth-century duo of Clara Schumann and Joseph Joachim. Violin duo Deux Mèches, currently based between Edinburgh and Paris, will take the stage in November with a dynamic programme including Judith Weir’s “for friendship”. To wrap up the first season of the Sound Salon, violin/cello duo Strata will perform in December with the ethereal and beautiful duo by Ravel. See below for more details and booking links.
